Public Transportation

  1. Take the AirTrain Newark from your terminal to Newark Liberty International Airport Station
  2. From there, board an NJ Transit train to New York Penn Station
  3. At Penn Station, transfer to the Newark Airport Express bus (runs every 15-20 minutes) to Bryant Park/Grand Central
  4. LUMA Hotel is just a 3-minute walk from Bryant Park

Tickets: AirTrain + NJ Transit tickets can be purchased from ticket machines inside the AirTrain station (credit card/cash). Newark Airport Express bus tickets are sold online, via the mobile app (download from the Apple Store or Google Play), or directly from the bus driver (credit card/cash).

Travel Time: ~60-75 minutes

  1. Take the AirTrain JFK from your terminal to Jamaica Station
  2. Transfer to the E subway line (Manhattan-bound) and ride to 42nd Street-Port Authority
  3. LUMA Hotel is a 10-minute walk from the station

Tickets: Purchase an AirTrain ticket at Jamaica Station exit gates for $8.50. Tap and ride with your contactless credit or debit card, smartphone, wearable device, or OMNY Card.

Travel Time: ~60 minutes

  1. Take the Q70-SBS "LaGuardia Link" bus (runs 24/7, luggage racks available) to Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue Station
  2. Transfer to the E subway line (Manhattan-bound) and ride to 42nd Street-Port Authority
  3. LUMA Hotel is a 10-minute walk from the station
