#1 Hotel in NYC

This was our first time staying at Luma Time Square and it will definitely NOT be our last. The staff were incredibly friendly, always asking how our excursion that afternoon or evening went, and the housekeepers checked frequently to make sure the room was always clean or if we needed anything. It was really nice not having this hotel as part of a conference centre, as it made it feel more secluded even in a giant city. The proximity to Time Square, the Subway, Bryant Park, Library, Dog Museum, UN Headquarters, Central Park, Intrepid Aircraft carrier were amazing. Our family of 4 loved the 2 KING size beds, and we actually loved having an interior room, as it was even more quiet than our home in the countryside, which provided a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. The restaurant and bar served great food and drinks. I would highly recommend this hotel and book directly through them, as they can provide further discounts, restaurant credits, etc.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at LUMA Hotel Times Square. The staff was truly outstanding and so warm, welcoming, and always happy to help with recommendations and directions, which made our trip even better.
Our room was modern, spotless, and very comfortable, especially after long days exploring the city. The bed was super comfortable, the layout was well-designed, and everything felt upscale and well-maintained.
The location is perfect as it is within walking distance to Broadway, Times Square, Bryant Park, and plenty of great restaurants. Overall, LUMA was a great mix of comfort, convenience, and excellent service. We would absolutely stay here again. 

Great location. We could walk to many attractions and the subway station was a 5 minute walk. Bryant Park is a beautiful park and leas than a 5 minute walk. The staff were great. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hotel is clean.

Fantastic hotel! Modern design, high-tech rooms, and a very attentive team. Being right next to Bryant Park made getting around the city so easy. It’s a true sanctuary of comfort and quiet amidst the hustle and bustle of New York. The cleanliness and high-quality amenities stood out. This will definitely be our home base for all future visits to the city. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel in Times Square! The staff went above and beyond, always friendly, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. The rooms were spotless and impeccably maintained, making it so comfortable to relax after a long day in the city. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Times Square, with theaters, restaurants, and shops just steps away. I couldn’t have asked for a better home base in New York and would definitely stay here again!

I loved our stay at Luma. I booked this hotel because they had a room with 2 king sized beds and I needed to sleep 3 teenage boys. This room was spacious enough they felt comfortable playing hide and seek (talk about entertaining). The beds were comfortable and allowed them to wrestle one another. The bathroom was a good size and the shower was great with the handheld shower head and regular shower head.
The front desk staff, front door staff, and everyone else was kind and attentive. The service was great.
This was in between Times Square and Bryant Square Park. A close walk to so many things but it didn't even seem to be that close to them with how quiet the room was. There were 6 rooms total on our floor and we never ran into anyone else that was staying on our floor. It was quiet and felt like we had the whole place to ourselves.
