- Comfortable stay: Although the room was a bit small for our family, it worked well since we spent most of the day out and only came back to sleep at night. Beds were comfortable, and everything functioned smoothly.
- Kids’ delight: The hotel’s robot that delivered amenities to the room was a highlight — our kids enjoyed it a lot.

Just had four awesome days in NYC LUMA with my husband. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived! The concierge, doorman, housekeeping and restaurant team made us feel comfortable and gave us great tips about navigating NYC. The Bryant Park location was perfect - with easy walking distance to so many sites and central for subway lines. The breakfasts made things simple for us and dinner there was delicious. It was our first time in NYC together and we loved it. Can’t wait to get back to LUMA NYC again :)

I was in New York City celebrating the publication of my book, Don’t Throw in the Towel Yet!, and I couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay than LUMA Hotel Times Square.

From the moment we checked in, the staff welcomed us with such genuine warmth and hospitality. Every interaction felt personal, and that kindness continued throughout our stay.

If you’re considering it, I highly recommend booking the breakfast package. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and became one of the highlights of our mornings. We also loved that our three-night stay included a $75 hotel credit, which we happily used at the AperiBar. It was outstanding, and a perfect way to unwind after exploring the city.

One fun detail: I actually found LUMA through ChatGPT. I took the recommendation on faith, and I’m so glad I did. The hotel is beautiful without feeling pretentious, thoughtfully designed, impeccably clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. It managed to feel both sophisticated and welcoming, which isn’t always easy to find.

New York City can be unpredictable when it comes to hotels, but Luma delivered on every level. The room was spotless, the amenities were genuinely nice, and everything just worked, including the air conditioning, which sounds like a small thing until you've spent a night in a NYC hotel room that turns the AC off the moment you stop moving. Luma uses a real system that stays on as long as you want it on.

But what really separated this stay was the people. Call the front desk and an actual human picks up, immediately. Every request I made throughout the trip was handled with professionalism and genuine kindness, not the scripted, hollow version you get at most places. Real people who actually seemed to care.
